Underwater Fish Nursery Mural - Great Baby Boy Decorating Idea!

All four walls and ceiling were painted to transform this (formerly guest bedroom) into an underwater world!

There are dolphins on the ceiling, whales (over the crib) spelling out the baby's name in bubbles, a sunken ship, submarine, adorable fish and the cutest turtle you've ever seen!

Mother Goose, Nursery Rhyme - Nursery Mural

Using several of the mom's favorite, classic Nursery Rhyme illustrations for 'inspiration' - I created this fun and 'visually' stimulating nursery mural. The main nursery rhyme is Hey diddle diddle but I have also included several other popular nursery rhyme elements like Humpty Dumpty, the lambs (from Little Boy Blue), the shoe (from the Old Lady Who Lived In A Shoe) and, of course - Mother Goose herself, riding on a whimsical goose!

Using 'baby friendly' paints I transformed this beautiful, sunny room into a sweet baby nursery. 

I painted the walls & trim with Benjamin Moore's Natura (No VOC paint) and painted the mural with 'non toxic' acrylic paints.

The mural features Snoopy & Woodstock (wearing green striped Celtic's scarves) - flying a plane with the Celtic's logo- with puffy clouds! 

The baby's name is done in skywriting!

When mom & dad found out they were going to have a new baby - they knew immediately which theme they wanted for their nursery mural.  I painted a whimsical castle (fit for a prince or priness), fireworks, stars and their favorite quote - When you wish upon a star....Dreams do come true!

Great Idea For 3 Little Boys, Sharing a Room!

 
 
'Dad' works for Northwestern  and their 3 boy's love trains - so I painted a track around the room.

I made sure that each boy had a fun element over his bed (or crib).

There was the main locomotive,  caboose, train depot and a lot more - including a Train Bulletin, with each boy's name, date and time of their birth. 

When I finished the mural, the boys were jumping on the beds and screaming with joy!
